Stacy Anderson, MS.Ed, CEP
Founder
Since 2006, Stacy has been actively involved within the field of college admissions. After spending a brief time as an admissions counselor, the majority of her professional career was spent as a school-based college counselor in suburban Philadelphia. In the school setting, she worked directly with over 1000 students and families, each with varied goals and interests. In addition to her extensive knowledge about applying to college, her background has led to experience navigating many specific admissions processes, including athletic recruitment, federal service academy requirements, disability services access, financial aid/scholarship applications, and more. Stacy’s passion for helping students make the best choices has taken her to over 150 campuses across the United States. By visiting new college campuses each year, she brings this information back to guide her students and families.
In 2023, Stacy formed Insight College Counseling, LLC to bring her expertise to students and families needing personalized, quality college counseling services. Her goal is to make the process of applying to college manageable for everyone by creating a workable, individualized plan that fits the needs of the student. With an overabundance of information available on the internet, Stacy directs families to the facts and important details.
Stacy holds a BS in Psychology from Penn State University, a MS.Ed in Psychological Services from the University of Pennsylvania, and a professional certification in Secondary School Counseling in Pennsylvania. She has also passed the board-certified examination to earn the credential of Certified Educational Planner (CEP) and is a WOW Certified Essay Coach. Stacy remains active in the field by maintaining professional memberships in the National Association for College Admissions Counseling (NACAC), the Pennsylvania Association for College Admissions Counseling (PACAC), the American Institute for Certified Educational Planners (AICEP), through an associate membership in the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), and by attending numerous conferences, workshops, and information sessions throughout the country.
